Even at the Uber pickup point there were multiple taxis that passed by asking how much Uber was charging and offering a price match. On the ride up to the Conrad, we lost mobile service before we got to the hotel, and the directions to the Uber driver had him enter on the back side of the complex. Security was yelling at him, saying he should have entered off of the public road at the other entrance. He had to explain himself, but we weren't requested to give our names or show ID prior to the second gate at the forecourt of the Conrad. At those price points, you can afford their car service.
We took an airport taxi from the booth in the arrivals hall to our hotel in the Zona Romantica, I think it was 385 pesos?
As far as Uber is concerned, I did check once while at Conrad and it showed an available car 20 minutes away. And I checked multiple times at dinner in Sayulita and it kept showing a car either 18 or 19 minutes away. I read elsewhere though that the Ubers don't come to Sayulita despite the app showing them as available.
Even if you ordered an Uber to Conrad and it came I'm not sure it would be let inside the gate to pick you up. At a minimum you'd want to to message the driver with your full name and room number to give to guard.
