It has been almost 2.75 yrs since I last looked for aeroplan award flights.
I have flown to Asia from YVR 3-4 times using Aeroplan from 2018 to 2019 flying biz class.
On 2-3 occasions, I got 2 stopovers and only cost ~155k -160k aeroplan.

Back then, it was relatively easy to book award flights.

Now countries are opening up, I am looking to travel to Asia again in a few months so I just checked out Aeroplan website to see what is available.

Holy cow, next to impossible to find award seats and # of aeroplan pts needed is like 300k to 400k now.

You can only check 1 day at a time on Aeroplan website. Plus I sometimes see a specific date that's in green font. I click on it and it still shows no availability.

What does green font mean?

There has to be a better, more efficient way to look for award flights.

Is "Unofficial Advanced AC Reward Search Tool with Calendar (aka cowtool)" the way to go?

I prefer not have to hire a point consultant if possible.
