I obviously don’t want to cause a fuss and will be incredibly happy to sit in first, but would there be any benefit in asking the crew on boarding whether any of the 1A or k passengers would swap for row 2? It sounds like some flyers on here might prefer the row 2 option. If not I’m perfectly happy to sit back and enjoy the experience with a few glasses of LPGS.
If passengers in 2E and 2F are not flying together it will likely be easier to swap with one of them. Row 1 windows are very much a question of personal taste. A lot of people on this forum prefer 2A/K to 1A/K but I and a few others are exactly the opposite and I much prefer 1A/K.

By contrast, few passengers flying solo will choose the middle seat over a solo window, and if you are in 2A-E or 2F-K you'll both be on the same side of the plane and also able to talk a lot more easily.
