Long haul, Comfort+ is the equivalent of Economy Comfort: a few rows at the front of economy with marginal extra pitch. Delta markets it like it's a different class (in terms of booking, elite upgrades, and boarding) and includes free alcohol on shorthaul, but on longhaul there's no practical difference.
