Because it was bank weekend, we had to leave the Hibernian hotel and find another place to stay, so we decided to go to the end of this train line and stay Sunday night, June 5 in Waterford at the Waterford Marina Hotel.
ooh Waterford - I know the name because of Waterford Crystal. I had a 90s penpal from there.
i had assumed you had an abnb in Kilkenny and my late bestie lived on golf links road. It would have been fun if you had a coincidental abnb there.
i have fond memories of Kilkenny and I was only there in 1996.

This. And yes - kk is nicer now because so many people priced out of Dublin moved there. Overall Irish tiger made so many improvements for my Irish friends even if stuff got more expensive. My Kilkenny friend saw enough improvements in Kilkenny compared to life there in the 20th century.
