We visited Pleta de Mar for a weekend in 2018, shortly after the resort opened. The details are a bit fuzzy now, but I remember that we very much enjoyed out stay. The architecture and gardens are beautiful, food was excellent and service very friendly. We had a premium sea view suite with quite restricted views of the sea and limited privacy on the terrace though, so maybe pay some extra attention to the choice of room. As a guest, you can also use all the facilities of Can Simoneta, which has some stunning sea views. Simoneta gets a lot of repeat guests and it's easy to see why.

Both hotels are about an hour off to the east, so you might want to consider spending 1-2 nights to the west, closer to Palma or the Tramuntana mountain range. You could, of course, also visit these by rental car from Pleta, if you prefer to stay settled in one place.
