I always ask for a print out every single time I check out, no matter what. I wont leave without it. I hate the "ok you are all set" answer. Glad you think I am all set, but I was charged $180 for parking and I didnt bring a car, so I am not all set.
You have to request this
before officially checking out. If you do this and they have to make changes, the changes can be made immediately.
Once you check out, any changes that have to be made take 7-10 days. I've had who-knows-how-many holds placed on my CC while they sort out the F&B credit after checking out. It's a nightmare to keep track of; I couldn't imagine the headache when involving a corporate credit card or Concur.
