The lane is not "Fast" in BER. The last time I had to wait more than 30 Minutes. Yes BER is a national disgrace.
When you start queuing there is usually someone checking your BP if you are eligible.
In General, it depends a bit of the load and time of the day. Sometimes the "normal lines" are faster. Be aware that T1 and T2 connect airside, so you can use any security-lane.
