Hi!
I will be connecting through Chicago and Delhi on flight UA 712 and onward onto flight AI 429 into Chennai. The layover for this flight is 12 hours and 50 minutes. (I tried getting a shorter layover, but they were charging 5x the ticket price for shortening the layover by 4 hours). I am a US Citizen with OCI and I am traveling with an Indian Citizen. How would the immigration lines work, could we be in the same line? Also is it better to get lounge access for 10 hours or use the transit hotel or use another hotel? Thanks for your kind input.
