Good points, but I had my reasons...(1) I am mostly fully booked up to April 2023, (2) I had no one to go with on this one, (3) I only had a week left in Feb but likely not long enough for this trip, (4) I have a psychological limit of about $2k, maybe a bit more, but this was pushing it to over $3k with positioning, (5) I am concentrating on OW and *A, and (6) I will likely use the CAI-BKK fare of $1k in J with RJ to get to the region. I still came close to booking it....
