I'm struggling to use the BA Holiday Finder tool. That's the one where you can select either a month or a date of travel, how many nights you want to spend away, and which countries you'd like to go to.

I can only select any or all London airports to depart from. That's the only choice. I'd like to look at Newcastle or Manchester, or even Glasgow or Edinburgh, as my starting point.

Am I doing something wrong, or are BA second-guessing my departure airport based on the address in my Executive Club account. Or does the tool not support non-London airports - in which case that would be truly bizarre .

If it doesn't support other airports, are there any tips on how to find good holiday deals with BA? My aim is to travel in August or September to a good-value destination that will give me 450+ tier points and 4 BA flights . I'm flexible on departure dates. I could use the ITA Matrix to find good flight deals with a 5-night duration stay, then use the BA Holiday website to investigate flight+hotel prices for each permutation. But that's a frustrating way to go about it given that BA has a holiday finder tool that would be perfect if it would only let me select other departure airports.

I must be doing something wrong but I can't work out what.
