Is there a particular reason that you want row 1? IME, row 2 is much quieter as it enjoys a further distance from the front galley and F toilet, whilst behind it is a usually very quiet J mini cabin.

Not entirely sure why BA reserves 1A and 1K for golds any more. I wish they’d do it for 2A and 2K…..

I wish you a very pleasant flight - it’s a lovely feeling to get back in the sky in F!
