Odd that nothing came up when I searched, since it's often a common question, but does HA have a policy for same day changes or standby on non-interisland flights, or are you stuck with any fare difference? We have a 6PM LAX-HNL departure, but can leave earlier in the day, but would rather confirm something in advance that morning rather than sit in the terminal for hours trying standby.
