I meant the experience with companion First Class upgrades, not premium economy. Does anyone have any data points on if AS has started letting higher AA elites (Plat and up) upgrade a companion (with no status) to First Class? The AA website here (https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-p...a-airlines.jsp) still shows:
"^Initially this benefit only applies to the AAdvantage® status member. Later, AAdvantage Executive Platinum®, AAdvantage Platinum Pro® and AAdvantage Platinum® members will be able to extend this benefit to 1 companion traveling on the same flight and in the same reservation."

AS elites have been getting first class upgrades on AA for a while now, where's the reciprocity?

Thanks
