tpe is a cheap place to fly in premium classes. so is icn, for that matter. published d fares to/from both markets tend to run between $900 and $1400 (each way). ime sq tends to have fewer seats on offer at these levels, but they certainly sell them.

aside from published fares, there's a range of consolidator fares out there, the mechanics of which i don't fully comprehend (big commissions = gravy to kick back to buyers). to find these, one can open a phone book and start calling.
