Standard room

How are the rooms?
Standard old UK HIX design, small and not particularly clean (considering this was when people thought covid was nearly over but before omicron), air con doesn't really work, toilet very low and doesn't flush properly.
Also there is a secondary carded door between reception and lifts.

How is the exec. lounge?

What was good and what was bad?
Good - cheap on points; location is not uphill from Central station like other hotels, and close to main shopping areas.
Bad - breakfast typical for UK HIXes but even lower quality than usual, even the juices and teas were a bit weird

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes at 15k points depending on the prices of other hotels.
