Hi, just noticed a major crack in our suitcase upon arriving to the hotel after our BA flight. Trying to file a claim online through BA customer service portal but the form is asking for the "Damage / Pilferage Report (DPR) reference"

There is an "i" next to the DPR field where it says, "Where can I find my Damage / Pilferage Report (DPR) reference?
If you reported your baggage issue online, your reference number will be in the confirmation email you received at the time.
If you reported your baggage issue at the airport, your reference number will printed on the Damage / Pilferage Report (DPR) form you filled in at the time."
As I am reporting the issue online for the first time, will I be getting the DPR once I file the claim, or is there any other step I am missing here? Thanks
