A couple of days ago I booked (through Amex GBT) a BA ticketed ZRH->LHR->JFK flight (and return) in CE/CW and immediately upgraded the TATL segments (operated by AA) to F using a GUF (hurray for the new rules). Now the European segments are showing with a 125- ticket number attached, but there is no ticket number in the BA App for the AA segments, and using AA's MMB I see
"Please call to book your trip. Contact Reservations , Opens in a new window. or call your travel agent to ticket and pay for your trip." Of course I have already paid for my trip.
Part of the GUF process was apparently moving me from a BA flight number (operated by AA) to a "native" AA flight number. In MMB I don't see BA flight numbers at all now for the TATL portion, only AA.
I realise it may be just taking its time to be ticketed, but as usual I am suspicious whenever I don't see a ticket number, especially as a GUF I did subsequently (admittedly all on BA metal)
has been reticketted.
Questions:
- What is meant to show in AA's MMB for one of these upgraded flights. Do I see a 125- ticket number or an 001- ticket number or nothing, or something else?
- How long is this meant to take - i.e. when should I brave the GGL line again?
