I'd order a car and a few minutes later the driver would cancel. I was told by a taxi driver at the station that rideshare drivers won't stop where I was waiting so I ultimately walked the short distance to the hotel with two heavy suitcases. It wasn't ideal but I had no cash on me. On leaving the hotel for the airport, I again tried Careem but had the same issue. A bellman told me that rideshare operators aren't welcomed by taxi drivers and so they won't pickup directly from the hotel. Again I had no cash and so very few options. One of the hotel staff offered to charge my credit card MAD308 and give me the cash that I could then pay direct to a taxi driver which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. The taxi driver, however, spent most of the time riding the car horn. When we pulled into a service station, I was sure he was stopping to get the horn replaced.

I was upgraded to a junior suite which is one of those suites which isn't actually a suite, being one large room. It was indeed large, though, with lots of space. There was only one TV and while it sat in between the bed and the sitting area, it couldn't swing towards to the bed.

Service in the regency club was exceptional for both evening canapes and breakfast. Staff were very polished and professional, really at a Park standard. One staff member told me, "I am here for your service function." Quantity of food was limited but quality was high. Spirit selection was average.

I asked the hotel for options on sourcing a covid RAT for travel to the US and was given only one option at a high price. I sourced my own a 20-minute walk away for a fraction of the cost.
