I recently stayed here for two nights and found it quite adequate. The hotel is in perfect shape. It looks and feels new. Furnishings throughout appear first-rate.

The hotel is located at the edge of the airport carpark. Use the overhead walkway from the terminal to connect directly to the hotel, rather than walking through the carpark itself.

There are no suites but I was upgraded to a king deluxe room which I understand to be the highest category. It's a huge room with a large, three-seater sofa, huge TV, large dining table, desk, large bathroom with separate large tub, large shower. Windows cover the entire external wall. Housekeeping went a little bit overboard for my taste but tidying up some things that I would have preferred they hadn't. My large and heavy suitcase was lifted off the floor and onto the luggage rack and my pyjamas and swim shorts that I left on the footstool at the end of the bed were hung. The dirty socks I left in a corner of the bathroom were placed on a rail and other items of clothing I’d purchased were also moved to the wardrobe area. I’m not sure it was well-meaning.The hotel appeared to want to look after Globalists (and I think I was the only one there for at least one of my nights). The regency club is on the signs as being on the 6th floor but is not yet open. In lieu, I received a full breakfast and a happy hour of sorts in the bar from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, as well as an afternoon tea from 2pm to 4.30pm. The bar staff didn’t seem to be too clued in to what the benefits were but for the evening I managed beer (a local lager, not to my taste) and a club sandwich.

Breakfast wasn’t extensive and was more on the carb-heavy side than anything but still adequate.

The hotel’s website said “Indoor pool opening soon” but it’s actually open. It’s a nice space and quite a large pool. You are asked to shower beforehand but I was put-off from swimming by the cold temperature of the shower which, to me, defeats the purpose of then getting in the pool to cool off. There is also apparently a hammam but it was faulty while I was there and not available.

There is no ATM at the hotel and no rideshare operator. which threatened to leave me in a bit of bind transportation-wise The hotel will give you cash against a charge on your credit card but will add 3% for its trouble. I asked for assistance in sourcing a covid RAT and a gentleman from a lab came to see me at the hotel. I was quoted DZD3500 by the hotel but after the test the bellman told me it was DZD4000. I gave him DZD3500.
