As a comparison, I've used GlobalESim and Airalo in Dubai in the past 6 months

There were 2 issues with Airalo...

1. It didn't allow a HotSpot, so I couldn't connect my iPad to my iPhone.
2. It was just very slow - despite having a strong 4G signal. Every webpage took about 20 seconds to connect, but then downloaded very quickly. Almost as if it was going via a very slow proxy somewhere along the line.

GlobalESim was fine. Hotspot enabled and normal browsing experience.
