One of the risks of flying out of MIA to LA is weather especially when there is limited connections into Colombia. My observations of flights into CO in recent yrs I have seen a much higher occupancy and if there is a hiccup anywhere in the system one can expect what I'm dealing with. Spirit, JetBlue, Viva and others have expanded their flights into CO as it is a growing market

I can only hope that another carrier, based out of the DFW area would look at launching service to SA out of Houston with their new equipment coming online and be able to avoid South Florida
