I corrected the date it should been 6/9 not 6/8, my mistake

Correct the CSR probably made an honest mistake in claiming it was a mechanical issue, they are humans and I understand.

Since it is registered as an ATC issue, should I just drop it and not expect AA to offer any type of compensation? Write it off as one of the the joys of modern day flying?
