I own many pieces of B&R, but I paid basically half price for all of them. Amazon (Briggs and Riley store) has a sale right before school season and that's when I purchased all of them at the same time. However, there's a few pieces of B&R that I would pay full price for, others not so much.

I haven't used the warranty yet and probably won't since I'm usually outside the USA. At the time of my purchase, I went to the B&R website and purchased wheel sets and a handle set for my spinner. The purchases are technically free, but you pay for shipping. I figured those are the parts that would most likely break. But, for the most part I wouldn't pay full price for B&R. And I only paid full price for Rimowa because of the material and aesthetics. But, there's no luggage worth those premiums in my opinion. I own Pelicans, and those will take a beating with no problem.
