Actually none of the agents I talked to were aware of the issue. One mentioned the seat map meltdown yesterday but I've talked to frontline premier desk agents, web support, and supervisors and no one seemed to know anything about it which is odd.
I don't think it's phantom in UA's system because the fare specialists are seeing these when manually (re-)pricing it themselves. Also to "increase" the inventory, just search with however many pax. For example, if you put 2 adults, all lower inventory will show 2 (S2 T2 L2 K2) instead of 1 lol
