I ended up having dinner at night at NYNY as planned.
When I went to check-out at the Luxor, she presented me with my bill. Turns out the F&B credit did NOT automatically apply and the meal I ate the night prior was charged to my credit card. She didn't even verify the amount with me for confirmation and just handed me my bill.
Obviously I noted this and she credited back to my credit card the full charge from the previous night. Which was slightly over $30 - due to tip (Which isn't supposed to be covered).
MGM has had this F&B credit for quite awhile so you'd think they'd have their system working flawlessly w/o problems like this. Or is it not a "problem/bug in software system" but being...
PRETTY SNEAKY!! VEGAS THIEVERY. Maybe they expect people to just "forget about the F&B credit" or use CONvenient Express Check-Out and go home (And be too lazy to call & complain?).
We'll see later this year when I have many more nights planned/booked with the F&B credit.
Anyone else here have this above issue on check-out?
On the plus side, my Hyatt qualifying night credit and points went through after I had it added.
Moral of story: Don't use express check-out (Where you just drop your keycard in the box by the elevators) if you have an F&B credit. Settle the bill while there.
