It's a good location for doing the tourist trail of Guinness Storehouse etc. You'd be about a 10-15 minute walk to Trinity for the Book of Kells (very underwhelming imo, but I'm a local so I don't appreciate the touristy stuff as much). Post #37 & #38 capture my experience, its an excellent hotel for the price point and Dublin doesn't see many Globalists so I'd imagine the chances of an upgrade are higher however I imagine there's a higher proportion of Americans who hold Globalist travelling on Labor Day weekend so that'd increase the competition for what I could see to be 4 suites.
