EDIT: Looks like I would earn close to 68k miles on TK so just 12k shy from Elite+ and as TK validity seems to be 2 years and it serves both BKK and HEL it seems like the way to go.
Just be aware that TK has both notoriously bad IT and notoriously bad customer support.
