We flew Ath to IST to ORD(Chicago) two days ago - also in business.

we had a two hour layover and we had enough time to do a little shopping and visit the lounge. If you have similar luck to us though we had to walk the ENTIRE length of the airport. Which is quite big. I think if we had walked fast straight gate to gate it would have taken At least 35 min. Try to go to the gate striaght away bc they make you go through additional security. They did a pat down on every person and also opened up Every carry on including suitcases. This meant a lot of waiting and standing around since the process is slow.

two additional things to note - our flight athens to IST was a very short flight but still we were on lay flat seats and were served a meal which I thought was funny for such a short flight.

also if you are interested In buying any liquids at athens (ie olive oil for gifts) don’t listed to the duty free people saying IST will confiscate it. That is wrong information.
