I'd say with AA, you're likely to get the usual passive aggressive style of US service. The service might be a bit more genuine on BA. But then again you get good and bad apples on both airlines.

Food wise, AA is ahead with a close to pre-pandemic service without the one tray service. So probably BA ahead with staff but AA ahead with food.

But we're comparing at quite a low bar.
