It won't be permanently unavailable, and it may help the situation, e.g. free of charge from Skype helps when there's a long wait and you can keep one computer/phone with Skype waiting on hold whilst you try other options, etc. It just needs a bit of positive thinking to understand if something is helpful or not!
No need to get personal. Everyone is trying to help. I didn’t understand from your writing that your main point is the free of charge call (as other free of charge calling options are also available).
