That works if you're asymptomatic (and don't care about exposing others). But even with mild COVID, I felt like I had been run over by a bus for a couple of days. I would NOT have felt up to getting on a plane at all. In that case, one would need insurance to cover the potential extra expenses.
I'm leaving Friday afternoon and returning Sunday. I"m going to take a self admin test at home Friday afternoon just for the sake of it and have the proctored test scheduled for 10 am Saturday morning.
