Quick report/a few pics on recent LP RT. Ground service on all ends stellar! After being whisked through JFK security and a lovely stay in the lounge (the attendant here is terrific!) the inflight service on the outbound was unfortunately quite poor (bordering on non-existent.) Apologies to skip the details, prefer stay as anon as possible, suffice to say hope not to cross flights with either of those two FAs again.



The inflight service on the return was fabulous - warmth & kindness from every corner and no detail too small - so faith restored.



A few notes:

• Grande Siècle is officially off the JFK Lounge menu (though the dummy bottle is still there.)

• Answering my own question upthread - my checked bag was on the carousel at CDG literally as we arrived there. My AF escort said this is not always the case, however it’s usually pretty quick.

• Note to self - leave extra travel time to the airport for afternoon departures so as not to cut into Lounge time unnecessarily. (I’m normally a morning flyer at CDG, when the trip from Paris is much quicker.)

• Loved the quiet of the CDG Lounge in the late afternoon. The oeuf cocotte and chicken delicious! And perfect with the Roederer 2015 rosé.
