You don't need to go through the queues mentioned here, there is a flight connections route that keeps you in the same area as you arrived in. It is well signed, but sometimes people join the queues for entering Schengen when they don't need to. At the relevant juncture, after security you turn right rather than left to effective double back on yourself. This keeps you in the non Schengen side of the airport terminal which is where flights to places like the UK and Ireland depart. The whole process should take around 10 minutes, almost all of it walking. Make a note of the gate number as you come off the aircraft and then you should be fine to follow the signs. There are food and drink concessions in this area, but they pretty limited.
