I am PC of Avis Preferred and will be traveling at LAX (torrance area) for 4 days and need a rental car. Here are my options:
1. Book and return at LAX. 4 days full size costs $180 ($110 base + $70 tax)
2. Book at a local store and return at LAX, which costs $130 ($110 base + $20 tax)

Which option would you recommend? 2nd is cheaper but 1st might have better car options? If 2nd, are there any good local stores you recommend? Haven't booked hotel yet so could accommodate as long as it is not very far away.
