What you've mentioned is my one concern with SQ. Is it hard to get the bulkhead b/c I believe it has a huge ottoman straight in front of you and isnt like the other rows. Are those held for their elite members?
I'm not sure. I've only flown SQ a few times, and when I booked my flights the bulkhead rows were either full or blocked. I do not have SQ elite status, as I am an ANA member. I don't recall seeing a huge ottoman in the bulkhead rows, but I wasn't paying attention as I walked past those seats. If you're not sure, then a Google search would probably uncover some photos.
