Just take the B6 overnight non stop and save yourself the travel time/potential missed connection. It is likely far cheaper and saves a lot of time and energy. You do not want to be claiming and rechecking in luggage while changing terminals at LAX. Not to mention that you have to potentially deal with schedule changes from 2 airlines which do not coordinate schedules. You are just asking for trouble.
