Just to confirm, his KTN is in his profile on
your account? I've forgotten to include others KTN when I create award tickets within my account in the past. He shouldn't have a problem checking in, but sometimes you don't get pre-check even when correct.
Good to know re names. His KTN was in his profile in his UA but NOT in mine! Good catch. I added to mine and tried again but was still unsuccessful. Still can't check in and no pre.

add to the specific reservation. Appears TSA Precheck id / KTN is not transferred from profile to reservation for an existing reservation. So you need to manual for prior reservations.
And does not transfer to reservation made in another account like yours -- just add manually.

Should not be any crisis -- pretty normal issues that are handled at the airport, just allow a little extra time. Airport lines are long -- will be in line long than it will take an agent to check them in.
I'll see if I can add it on the rez via my UA profile. Didn't work adding to his profile in my UA, but I'll go a step further. And yes we can do at airport but was hoping not to half to. Tried the app scan prob 20x with different phones and still didn't work. Annoying.
