Son departs in a few hours for Europe and cannot check in online. App and website will not load his passport. Photo seems to be good but after "verifying" wheel, it is rejected. TSA precheck not added to his rez but is in his UA profile. This is an award ticket that I got via my own UA account. It looks like UA merged his first and middle name. I'm wondering if that is the issue. DL does that to mine and I've never had a problem. Not sure what to do. He wanted to change his seat but cannot do that unless he is checked in (or when we try to do it, it doesn't "stick). Advice needed. I don't want a crisis at the airport later today. He's headed off with friends.

And of course can't get through to UA on phone or messaging.
