Yee gads this property really seems outdated. The closet and bathroom doors both look like utility closets and bang against each other. The safe is an old style huge thing. The temp controls are temperamental - 69 blasts ice and 70 turns the heat on full blast. The globalist breakfast coupons are handwritten scraps of paper (to answer the above question, yes globalists get breakfast coupons that cover the buffet - but not sure the buffet is available on weekdays, I stayed over the weekend and it was available both day but friend said it wasn't offered on the Thursday or Friday he was there). When the buffet isn't on the coupons are good for $20 at the breakfast nook downstairs (snacks, prepared sandwiches etc).

Not sure what was renovated but bed was comfy enough and our room had nice river view. Gym on the first floor decently equipped. 15,000 points a night was worth it when paid rates were over $400. Not my favorite hotel but acceptable - Boston on certain weekends (this was apparently Harvard reunion weekend) very very pricey.
