Not worthy of Conrad brand - Plus AGAIN no Diamond recognition

It's getting a bit old to have to keep begging for Diamond benefits like upgrades, and still get turned down by clueless staff. We just got back from Conrad LV Resorts World and as many many others have reported, this is the case here. Don't waste your points or money - stay elsewhere. A few observations that may be helpful to folks...We usually stay at the Waldorf or Four Seasons in Las Vegas which are quiet, classy and have immaculate service (Waldorf spa is also phenomenal). This trip we had two concerts at Resorts World (the theater is awesome, as is Katy Perry's show) and Wynn so thought we would give the Conrad a try to avoid schlepping /Uber rides. If you don't need to be in this location however it is away from everything and your view is likely to be construction or parking lots or convention center - in short, not worth anything.
Booked with points as a Hilton Diamond (but same price as Waldorf). The Conrad is vast and connected to the Hilton which is also vast, so don't expect any remotely personal service or well ANY service at all. The staff appear to be clueless, know nothing and explain nothing; they are clearly untrained and uninterested. There is Zero recognition for Diamonds in terms of thanks, or room upgrades. On check in no upgrade even offered on my request not even to strip view (there were plenty of rooms for sale), 2 tiny waters, but they DO appear to take the Diamond breakfast credit off the total check (but it does not show up on the bill in any way that would let you know this....)
The whole place feels cheap. Our King room was not "Premium" - it was fine (double vanity at least, no tub; good toiletries in large bottles) but doesn't even have a coffee maker, does NOT have a safe, does NOT have a sofa, does NOT have a desk, has ONE robe/slippers....I mean this just isn't remotely five star accommodations even if you don't factor in the non-existent service. You can't even get proper room service - that is via GrubHub...so comes in plastic bags with plastic utensils...Pool area is way undersized for a complex with over 2000 rooms...as you would expect it's packed and noisy and just not a relaxing experience. Casino was fine, though still too smoky. Food options (we tried 3 different ones) were all fine but nothing worthy of the 5-star prices).

Beware: key cards are extremely finicky for operating the elevators to stop on your floor - virtually every time we were in it we are everyone else had a horrible time trying to get them to work, and at reception there was always a line of people requesting new keys!

One exception: Awana spa was awesome - beautiful facilities and terrific services. Facials were excellent and so despite prices ($250 for each facial) we didn't feel ripped off, unlike with everything else.

Overall this place is kind of a dump if you have Conrad expectations, set yourself at an airport Doubletree and you might be satisfied.
