My 18 year old nephew flew SFO-EWR to see me before we had to Europe next weekend. He was sitting in the last row of coach and on his way out he saw 6 blankets still wrapped in plastic (from coach it appears) and took them. He also snagged a headset from a FC seat which surprisingly worked with the iPhone dongle (I would have guessed they needed 2 prongs but did not). I explained how those items are not supposed to be taken off the plane and they belong to United. I'd like to have us return the items on Saturday morning when we fly out of EWR but not sure who to give them to. We're doing just carry-on bags so do we go to the check-in counter and hand them over or is there a better way to do it? I was hoping to not have to carry them through the airport to the lounge then the gate. Thanks for the help in advance.
