Google Fi is a great service...I arrived at LHR 4 days ago and my Android phone had switched even before I got off the plane. In previous years I've used it successfully in other Western European nations also.
Yes, I read that also. I think he will have a local sim in Europe for those 3 months so will switch to that. But the Google fi will allow him ease for transitions and for other travel. I’ve read about pausing the plan for up to 3 months at a time and then up to 180 days per year. So he may be doing that as well. Wanted to keep his phone number here despite living part time in Europe.
