Room is mot ready yet but relaxing with afternoon snacks and coffee. There were scones available also together with tuna wraps chocolate cake and mixed nuts. Some fruit ie apples are available also

More haze here and the lounge windows are a little dirty
lounge agent has just come round and handed me my room key. Just finishing the scone before heading up
Room is a corner room on 45th floor.
Views of the city and towards the sea( cannot quite see the sea due to haze at the moment

my preordered stuffed camels ( different design from march)and a vase of roses and orchids have been delivered

A few minutes later a box of 4 dates have arrived.
the pool is busy but there are a number of deck chairs free. There are a few sunny spots left but think that by 530 to 6pm everything will be in the shade as the sun goes behind the talk eastern wall.

same selection of food in the executive lounge as in March.rangeof spirits is limited but white wine is good. Top ups offered.
lounge busy at 1930 but number of seats available. People beginning to leave now.
overall very good lounge experience so far
unusually the staff seem a little slow at removing the food.. on previous stays the food has been removed within s couple of minutes but today there was still a number of items at 2012.

auto wake up call at 0745 with manual call 5 mins after that.
Beautiful views to burj al Arab and could even make out the Atlantis palm and the waldorf palm before the haze started.
breakfast v quiet at 0815. Staff recognised me from my last visit. Outdoor terrace seating ( shaded) available.
usual dubai conrad buffet selections very good including barista made coffees but you have to wear a mask when moving around the buffet
lounge selection is more limited but a good selection of hot and cold items and some items not downstairs ie mango juice.
Pool is a lot quieter at 10am than yesterday pm.
water is warm but nice.
Perfect temperature for doing nothing.
pool bar is open with alcoholic drinks from 1100
25% off for diamond members
standard sockets by the bed but there is also USB points close to the floor by the desk beside the window. It was not obvious at first as the points are partially hidden by the desk
pool was quieter today ( monday) than yesterday
Chicken Buryan with rice was amongst the hot items today.
