Justo to echo the review about, The Ivens is a fantastic hotel in Lisbon. Service is top notch, from check in, through breakfast, and the restaurant. The public spaces are simply stunning. The lobby and the restaurant are gorgeous. We did as food tour here (Culinary Backstreets -
https://culinarybackstreets.com/ - I cannot recommend it more highly, great tour) and the guide said the restaurant, Rocco, was the hot spot to eat in Lisbon at the moment.
The rooms are small - we had a king with a balcony and it wasn’t cramped, but if it had been more than the two of us it wouldn’t have worked. Ceilings (at least on the second floor) were HUGE - 6 meters/20 feet at least, and helped give a sense of space.
Breakfast was amazing - incredible service and a good menu to order off of with a supporting buffet. It was included in my room rate, so I am unsure about elite recognition. We got some chocolates and two negronis at Rocco as a welcome gift.
I would definitely return. Great hotel and wonderful staff.
