I see a noticeable change the OP describes. Things have definitely changed for the worse. I was familiar with told Starwood games where a resort would make it impossible to book five nites to ge fifth nite free. Now properties are taking basic rooms out of inventory. At best some allow points plus cash. It’s getting comical.
