sure. And this is the reason why many Hotels forget to credit the welcome bonus points …or credit a wrong amount (often just the total amount for the room without incidentals expenses)

if an Hotel know that if they forget to credit points or they credit a wrong amount of points they will be charged $100 on points, I’m sure they will all remember and / or will use a calculator from the day after.
