As long as your adress is updated in the system the bag will be delivered to you at some stage. There is no point in trying to speed it up by calling back and forth. Just be patient. It can take 1-2 days before the courier is ready to deliver you bag. In the maintime, go shopping on the account of LH; keep the receipts for toiletries and neccessary clothing and submit to LH for reimbursement when you are back.
I actually finally found it… had I waited I highly doubt it would have arrived while I was still in Nice. The lady kept insisting that the courrier had it meanwhile he was texting me telling me he didn’t have it and that this same situation happened last week. No one answered so I went to the airport. At first she refused to let me go back and look at the bags in storage but after 5 minutes of pressing (this was my second trip to airport today) she let me back there. I saw my bag immediately and she just gave a sigh and said her colleague must have made a mistake. Pretty frustrating considering they continually insisted the courier had it and Lufthansa even said the courrier was a liar.

now to try and get Lufthansa to pay me back for the clothing I bought over the last few days, the hotel when we got stuck in Munich, and the lost night of the Airbnb in nice…
