Can I use Points for Hotel last minute (turning up at hotel)?
I plan to drive through the night from Detroit to New York. I haven't decided whether to make the 10 hour drive straight through the night or make a stop at a hotel for a few hours.

Can I just turn up at a hotel and use my points to book the stay? If so, do I need to call Marriott hotline to do it or can the reception do it for me?
