This problem sounds as if it is specific to your individual circumstance, or at least to the state where your business is registered. Which state is it?
It's not unique, every state requires the designation of a registered agent when you file for an LLC. The registered agent info is what shows up on the state LLC certificate, which is part of the point of having a registered agent. Although it's possible to use someone at the physical business address, this isn't common. If Barclay's is unable or unwilling to understand the difference between the registered agent address and the physical business address, then this is going to be a problem for most LLCs.
